“Thankful” is printed in my mom’s actual handwriting, a quiet reminder of the woman who shaped who I am. The one who taught me how to work hard, to be kind, to serve others, to show up, to stand tall, and to love people well. The one who turned porch lights on, opened doors, and made every person feel welcome. The one whose example still guides me, every single day.
